Drawing Room

Join us at our ongoing events, Caldera Drawing Room: Conversations, which explore the impact of creative practice in our lives and our communities.

With the Drawing Room events, Caldera will present intimate gatherings designed to raise money, and bring together community for small-scale, high-impact evenings, exploring the power of creativity. Together we will explore the unlimited potential of building vibrant and inclusive communities by harnessing the creative process.

Our Central Oregon Drawing Room on April 16 will focus on the lived experience of youth in 2026. At a time when it has never been harder to be a kid, we’ll explore how identity, technology, and community shape the lives of Oregon’s youth—and how Caldera’s work to awaken creativity supports their sense of belonging.

Our Portand Drawing Room on May 28 brings acclaimed artists Tessa Hulls and Shing Yin Khor together for a thoughtful conversation about creative practice using the river as a guiding metaphor. Their conversation will reflect on rivers as places of escape, renewal, and responsibility, touching on urban waterways, sustainability, and food security through the lens of water and shared care.

We can't wait to gather with you again for this year's Drawing Rooms!
